Quick Post

I am so done with being bed-ridden and weak, and not being able to eat solid food. I've been living on porridge, rice + soup and salt water, guys. It's sad. But good news is I've recovered, though I'm not 100% healthy yet, I do feel pretty normal. Alhamdulillah. I'm not too happy that I skipped 3 days of classes, I probably missed a chapter for every subject and it's gonna hurt having to catch up with everything next week. Speaking of catch up, here's what I did before I got sick. Haha.

  • My mum and I went shopping for 2015 diaries, followed by having desserts together and getting myself a pair of new flats, since I lost mine at her wedding and all I've been wearing for the past month+ are sneakers or my Lily sandals.

Best friend / mama
  • I had to be a model for Hana's friend's photography assignment. It went well but the make up on my face (eyes, especially) was too much, I took it off right after. The same day, Hanis picked me up from MSU and we went back to my place. It was so much fun catching up with her and laughing about everything. From tudungs to make up to boys, I think we pretty much covered everything before she had to go home.

Just to clear the air out about whether or not I've started wearing the headscarf permanently now, I haven't ! My intention to wear it permanently was and still is to start in January. So right now I've been considering it my practice phase. Though I have been wearing it A LOT. 9 times out of 10 I do go out with a headscarf, but I still don't consider myself someone who has worn it permanently until January comes. One thing for sure is that, no photos of me showing my hair will be visible on my Instagram or any other social network, even the ones I have on my blog will slowly be removed soon. And I will not let my friends post new photos of me that have my hair showing, so for some parts I am considered a girl who has worn the hijab permanently but to me, I haven't. If that makes sense. I've had so many people congratulating me and being happy for me already and I appreciate it so much. Thank you ! But yeah, if you see me going out to 7Eleven or I'm out with my family for a quick meal and I'm not wearing a headscarf, don't be alarmed haha. I'm getting used to the tudung, I'm practicing. January is coming super soon, don't worry. And I'm in the process of writing a post about the hijab too :)

Twins of Faith post coming up next. x

    1. Hi ! In this photos above, my friend Hana wrapped my scarf for me ! It's a little bit complicated and even I don't know how she did it exactly. But usually when I go out or anything, I wrap my tudung pretty normally. Shorter side on the left, tuck that in my top and wrap the longer side around my head haha. Thank you so much, means a lot to me !! Amin. x
